With grateful hearts.

To our families, our friends, and everyone who has held us in their hearts, thank you. Before there was a wedding day to plan, there were people who loved us, guided us, corrected us, and prayed for us. We have not forgotten any of it. We thank Allah for bringing us together and for surrounding us with you.

Some of you gave your time when there was already so much asking for it. You made calls, ran errands, listened to our worries, checked on our parents, and helped us carry the things we could not manage on our own. Some gave money or gifts, some offered a meal, a ride, a helping hand, or a kind word at exactly the right moment. Please know that we noticed. None of it was small to us, and none of it is taken for granted.

To everyone who has prayed for us, quietly or out loud, may Allah reward you. Your prayers for peace in our home, patience with each other, good health, and a marriage filled with mercy mean more than we can put into words. Please keep us in those prayers as we learn, grow, and build our life together.

To those travelling from far and near to celebrate with us, thank you for making room for our joy in your lives. We know what it can take to leave work, arrange a journey, find someone to look after things at home, and show up. We are grateful for every mile and every effort. May your journey to us and back home be safe and easy.

And to those who cannot be here in person, you are still part of this day. Thank you for calling, sending your love, and joining the moments here. We hope these photographs, little videos, and familiar faces bring you close to the laughter and make you feel included, wherever you are. Your absence from the room does not mean an absence from our hearts.

We will remember the faces, the embraces, the advice, the laughter, and the many ways you made us feel loved. Long after the celebration, that is what we will carry into our home. May Allah bless you and your families, return your kindness in ways you never expected, and give us many more reasons to gather in happiness. From both of us, with full hearts: thank you.
